Terms and Conditions of Use and Booking
Welcome to the website of Africa Whispers SafarisThese Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the tour operator and its clients when booking and participating in organised safari tours and travel services.
1. General Provisions
- Africa Whispers Safaris is an officially registered company in Uganda with Registration No. [80030817516584].
- By making a booking or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings and Payments
- A booking is considered confirmed once you have received confirmation from us and a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip has been paid.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the departure date.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- In the event of cancellation by the client, the following cancellation charges apply:
- More than 60 days before departure: only the deposit will be retained.
- Between 30 and 59 days before departure: 50% of the total cost of the trip will be retained.
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total cost of the trip will be retained.
- Please note: Fees for special permits (such as gorilla or chimpanzee trekking permits) are non-refundable, as these are paid directly to the relevant authorities in Uganda.
4. Insurance and Safety
- All participants are required to have valid international travel medical insurance covering emergency medical assistance and rescue services for the duration of the safari.
- Clients must follow all safety instructions provided by our drivers and local guides during safaris, trekking activities, and other organised experiences.
5. Passport and Visa Requirements
- Clients are responsible for ensuring that they hold a valid international passport (valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry) and any required visas and vaccination certificates (such as a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate) necessary for entry into Uganda.
6. Changes to the Itinerary
